Kofi Kodua
Managing Director and Portfolio Manager
Kofi oversees Clean Yield’s impact investing strategy, co-leads the firm’s equity research efforts, and manages client portfolios. His background spans deep expertise across both public and private markets, bringing nearly two decades of experience in investment research, portfolio management, and ESG integration.
Kofi has extensive expertise in managing portfolios, conducting fundamental and thematic research, and advancing stewardship initiatives that support sustainable and impact investing. Prior to joining Clean Yield, Kofi spent 12 years at Allianz Global Investors as a research analyst and senior portfolio manager, where he oversaw three public equity ESG funds and helped build the firm’s Global Thematic Equity platform. Earlier in his career, he led private credit research and direct-lending investments across the capital structure – including syndicated loans, middle-market financings, mezzanine, and distressed opportunities.
Kofi also co-founded KeyTranche, an investment analytics platform that leverages advanced technology and data to transform how investors analyze opportunities and make decisions.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Claflin University and an MBA in Finance and Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Kofi lives in Somerset, New Jersey with his wife and two kids. He enjoys traveling and is an avid supporter of the EPL team Chelsea Football Club.
